Cheap purchases from China may shortly be over. Brussels follows Donald Trump's lead and prepares customs for low-value shipments outside the European Union. At the same time, the wave of charges, penalties and checks against Shein, Temu and another Chinese platforms is growing. But there is more to this than a dispute over marketplace dominance or lowest prices.
