Can the United States afford to fight Iran?

American ships and aircraft one more time shot down a large number of rockets and drones on the Red Sea. Unfortunately, the cost of this operation has repeatedly exceeded the value of the targets that have been destroyed. Americans with limited rocket resources can so be forced to limit their activity, focusing on combating only those objects that pose a direct threat to them.
