For this reason, modern analyses of the conduct of war describe this fresh couple of concepts: synthetic asymmetry and intelligence. The erstwhile means designing full combat environments, in which the advantage is not derived from 1 miraculous weapon, but from a combination of all things: technology, data and procedures. The second step is to teach machines and adaptation systems to recognize, respond and improve their decisions. As a result, the advantage is no longer derived from the power of fire, but from the ability to think faster and wider than the opponent. This fact is highlighted by Dave Venable, erstwhile NSA officer, author of the text *Forget Guerrillas and IEDs – The Next Asymmetry War Will Be Engineered* (The Cipher Brief, (2025)). In his opinion, the era of the classical asymmetric war ends, whose icon since the mid-20th century has been guerrillas, rebels, or AK-47 terrorists – defends cheaper, simple and effective in sowing chaos. According to him, the time of synthetic asymmetry is coming, in which the 1 who can combine data, algorithms and decisions into 1 self-learning ecosystem is victorious.
