"I do not print this text in Gazeta Wyborcza, due to the fact that I do not want to affect Drafting in a legal dispute that will most likely happen as a consequence of what I am writing here. (...) I print it as a citizen, not as a journalist,” he explains in the introduction.
Czuchnowski: “I can’t keep quiet”
The material has more than 9,000 characters. Although he describes many circumstantial events and quotes, he is not an article. Includes many individual contributions by the author, comments, evaluations. But, as Czuchnowski emphasizes, all the facts are evidenced.
The writer “GW” describes the actions of Wojciech Więciewski. He was a erstwhile judge, who was celebrated for being sentenced to prison by the politicians of Law and Justice – Mariusz Kamiński and Maciej Wąsik, for which he was attacked by the rulers at the time and removed from office.
According to writer Więczewski has alcohol problems. He was besides expected to endanger his wife with death. Through his cognition and abuse of power, he was to influence the extension of prosecutorial proceedings in this case.
“I can’t keep quiet, I can’t proceed to tolerate it,” explains Czuchnowski. It besides reveals its function in the case. He and the erstwhile justice had a close relationship. He witnessed threats of punishment against his wife, giving evidence about this in ongoing proceedings.
“I have not consulted anyone”
In a conversation with “Presserwis”, the writer claims that the decision to print the entry was made the day before, erstwhile he learned about the influence on the prosecutor handling the case of Częczewski.
– I haven't consulted anyone. I did not say that I would compose about it due to the fact that I did not want to put them in a hard situation. I can't keep my mouth shut due to the fact that there's force against him. (Łączewski – ed.) The wife is frightening – she explains her actions.
He took specified a form of publication to have a individual character. He did not decide for the article because, as he explains, "the case is not media either".
Meanwhile, the post reached over 100,000 views in a fewer hours and over 400 passes further. The entry is gladly passed by right-wing politicians (including Janusz Cieszynski, Maciej Wąsik), who have criticized Czączewski for years. The subject was besides taken by right-wing titles, among others inPoliticy.pl, Salon24.pl, Independent.pl. They inform in their titles about the “shocking facts”, “the shocking entry of Czuchnowski”.
In the “GW” there was no authoritative desire to talk
Wojciech Czuliewski briefly comments on the entry of the writer “GW” in an interview with “Presserwis”: “The appropriate legal steps have already been taken. He doesn't tell you precisely what that means.
The "GW" did not want to formally discuss Czuchnowski's entry. Unofficially, we have learned that “for sure” the subject will not be taken up journalistically, since Czuchnowski treated it as personal.
Our interviewer admits that the subject would be difficult. Over the years, the run of PiS politicians and propaganda for the judgement on Kamiński and Wąsiku “GW” defended Czierewski. This is inactive active in the media, e.g. on 11 January, he appeared on TVP Info in the "Question of the Day" program, criticizing the effectiveness of the accounts of the Law and Justice Government.
In 2015, “Journal of Law Newspapers” awarded him the “Golden Paragraphs” award in the category “Best Judge”.
