St. Andrew Bobola is 1 of the most celebrated Polish saints. However, his wonderful apostolic activity, the astounding evidence of spiritual life, the love of the Church and of human souls, the concern for the spiritual welfare of the Church and its unity are inactive not mentioned. The latest book by Czesław Ryszka entitled “Andrzej Bobola The Advocate of Poland. Life, martyrdom, holiness” (White Raven) is simply a communicative about the extraordinary past of the large Pole and the hero of the Church – Saint Andrew Bobola, whose life and heritage are not only an inspiring example of courage and faith, but besides an invaluable value for our Homeland.

Andrzej Bobola of the coat of arms of Leliwa, priest, monk, present the patron of Poland, lived from 1591 to 1657, in an unusually turbulent time of large threats to the Homeland and the Catholic Church. He died in a peculiarly cruel way at the hands of the Cossacks, who even wanted to spare him his life if he renounced his Catholic faith. Despite highly savage torture, he refused. He died in terrible torment. Many Catholics in the east of the Republic of Both Nations died at that time; they were rapidly buried, rapidly forgetting the burial sites. It was the same with Father Andrzej Bobola, who appeared as a monk in Pinsk in 1702 and asked to find his coffin. On April 19, that year, the coffin was actually brought to light. After it was opened, it turned out that the Martyr's body had no signs of decay! Next to the revelation itself it was a sign from Heaven that the Martyr was their chosen. They came from the afterlife Fr.Andrzew Bobola then promised the residents of Pińsk that he would save them from the hands of Swedish soldiers who ravaged the country during the Northern War. He kept his word; Pinsk miraculously survived.
Just like erstwhile he was alive – besides after Bobol died he did not give up. This message may seem strange, but only to those who do not know the destiny of this brave priest and large patriot. This book brings his dramatic life and later remarkable revelations to this day! These revelations were (and are) always associated with the intention to save the Homeland. For example, in 1819 Father Bobola raised the hopes of Poles, predicting that after the large war they would regain independence. As we know, this actually happened after planet War I in 1918. all time Fr.Andrzew Bobola, who was beatified in 1853, and in 1937 canonized, appears as an advocate for national affairs. Martyr's last appearance was held on May 1, 2020.
This book is not only a communicative about the heroic life of Saint Andrew Bobola, but besides a colourful image of the past of the Republic, which sheds light on crucial events of that time. It is an engaging yet instructive communicative of an unbreakable man – a large holy advocate of our Homeland in Heaven. present the Fatherland and the planet request a strong evidence of religion not only from the declaration, but above all from the attitude of life.
