Czech Republic bought Polish Black Hawks

The agreement concerns 3 helicopters, but this is only the beginning of a larger framework project, in which a full of 11 machines are to be acquired. 3 PZL S-70M helicopters (version M, civilian version without armor) are expected to cost 3.19 billion Czech kroner, or about $151 million and will be delivered within 4 years with included packages: logistics and training. The selection of constructions from Poland took place in August this year, but the contract was signed in early November. The evaluation criterion in the competition (the offer on Black Hawki was No. 2) was the mass of the device (60 percent points of the evaluation) and its method parameters (40 percent points). The tender was formally won by Česká letecká servisní a.s. and Polish plants will be its supplier.
