Czech Republic bought additional Leopards 2

Under the agreement concluded ([the signing of which was announced by the Minister of Defence Jan Černochová on 20 November](https://defence24.pl/power-arms/early-buy-rail-German-czolgi) another 14 Leopard 2A4 tanks will be sent to the Czech Republic, coming mainly from [Switzerland's equipment surplus](https://defence24.pl/defence-defence policy/Switzerland-sale-leopardy-2-do-German). It was signed by the Director-General of Rheinmetall Landsysteme GmbH and Lubor Koudelka, Director-General of the Armed Forces and Purchases Department of the Ministry of Defence of the Czech Republic. In addition to the vehicles themselves, the contract described is to contain ammunition of kal. 120 mm, spare parts, assembly of local communications systems and various types of consumables. The deliveries are to be made by the end of 2026.
