The Czech government entrusted the local defence minister Janie Černochova with the beginning of negotiations on the acquisition of 2A8 Leopards for land troops as part of a joint acquisition with the national Republic of Germany. It is planned to retrieve about 70 copies of this latest variant of Leoparda 2.
