Czech Republic will co-produce Leopards 2

The Czech Republic has set as 1 of the conditions for buying German Leopard 2A8 tanks ([in the number of 44 units](https://defence24.pl/sily-zbrojne/czechy-finalizuja-zakup-czolgow-leopard-2a8-analiza)) the engagement of [local manufacture in their service, maintenance and production](https://defence24.pl/przemysl/czechy-wezma-udzial-w-produkcji-najnowszych-leopardow-2). We are talking here about components not only for Czech vehicles, but besides those manufactured for another countries. On December 18, KNDS Deutschland announced that it had contracted the Tatra defence Vehicle plant to produce 150 Leopard 2A8 tank hulls.
