‘ Time to block the border with Ukraine and look for a way out of the situation”

Piotr Korycki, farmer, associate of the Individual Farmers Protest Commission:
– The main thing is that we can, according to our own rules, grow our soil, grow our animals. We do not want EU privileges offered by the Union, specified as subsidies. This subsidy is actually compensation for the costs we bear in addition as farmers for what is being imposed on us by the Union. Restrictions on the usage of pesticides in fields, bureaucracy... There is no specified thing in Ukraine. They are thus more competitive towards us and are able to produce much cheaper.

Our food is surely much healthier, we do not usage these pesticides, but, consequently, little competitive on our market. due to the fact that we produce it much, much more expensive. Like this. our agriculture is at hazard of failure of profitability of our productionand. If there is no specified profitability, our farms will simply halt producing, rearing animals. And we will gotta open ourselves up to another countries in any way to aid us, and we do not want to, we do not require it. We are able to guarantee food safety for ourselves.

Right now. We call for the blocking of all these borders with Ukraine so that these articles do not come to us.
This is specified a temporary solution.. At the moment, this is very essential so that we can bear this economy.
But this is not a long-term process. The government needs to figure out how to solve this, due to the fact that we can't shut up completely for a long, long time. They gotta come up with something that allows any kind of trade, but they just gotta invent a camera that will aid everyone.

Therefore, as farmers – farmers, I stress – we call for a gathering with the Prime Minister who will talk to us. Only with us farmers! Not with people who impersonate in any way and effort to do something for us to cover it up.

Another substance for the government is to take care of all this Green Deal. It just has to stop. Boo will not be able to produce so competitively if it works in our country.
