Ukraine is the most lost in this war – this is no doubt. Not only will it lose at least 20% of its territory, it is forced to sign a demeaning agreement with the US to donate almost all the natural resources inactive in its territory.
During the 3 years of the war Ukraine has left, possibly forever, about 10 million citizens, how many died on the front – no 1 but the Ukrainian authorities knows exactly, but it is surely not 45,000, as Zelenski claims, or alternatively 3-4 times more.
Donald Trump, who turned over the geopolitical table, spares no words of criticism about Volodymyr Zelenski, who is worshiped here and in Europe. He says, “Think: Moderately successful comedian, Volodymyr Zelenski, persuaded the United States of America to spend $350 billion to start a war that could never be won, a war that he, without the US and Trump, would never be able to end.” "The dictator without elections, Zelenski better act quickly, otherwise he won't have a country," he added. Many find this assessment highly objective, unfair, and outrageous. Apart from the kind in which Donald Trump expressed his opinion, his assessment is justified.
Firstly, Zelenski, elected by the Russian-speaking population of east Ukraine, where he received over 70%, simply betrayed his electorate and switched to the incorrect side of power. He promised peace with Russia, but not only did he not intend to fulfill the findings of the Minsk Agreements (autonomy for Donbass), but he promised to recapture Crimea and bring Ukraine into NATO, after which he supported the actions aimed at the Russian-speaking population limiting its rights. But his biggest mistake was to reject in April 2022, after Russia launched an invasion, negotiated peace in Turkey that guaranteed the existence of a neutral Ukrainian state. He chose, under force from the US and the UK – a war.
Ukraine fell victim to its madly-romantic policies, almost all options that believed in Western hints and agreed to act at the interface of 2 hostile blocks—the function of a militarized buffer, geared to confronting the atomic power. Poland did so already in the 18th and 19th centuries, erstwhile we were utilized by various centres, besides secret, for diversion against Russia. Right, but if you're smart and you analyse history, you shouldn't have let that happen. In 1790 Prussia promised the Republic of Poland everything, gave guarantees and assured of friendship. 2 years later, we had a war with Russia and demolition. The example of Ukraine only confirms the old wisdom that past has not yet taught anyone anything.
