– Long ago, the words “you want peace, prepare for war” did not sound as serious as now – said Prime Minister Donald Tusk. “But the fact that present we are building a powerful army, that we have large generals, educated commanders, determined soldiers, the top safety funds in history, makes the spectrum of war go away,” he added. The head of government, referring to the planet situation, besides stressed that it was much easier to make armed conflict than to avoid it. “We in Poland realize very well that there is only 1 excuse for war. It's the defence of your own border, your own nation, your own country. And Poland is ready for that," he said.

In a akin tone, the Deputy Prime Minister and Head of the Ministry of Defence Władysław Kosiniak-Kamish spoke. – There is nothing more crucial than building a safe Poland. The strength of good intentions, which I am convinced we have in Poland. But besides the force of the army, which must be well organized, equipped and prepared, as well as the force of citizens who build a community of society," the Deputy Prime Minister said.

The head of the MON indicated that strengthening the armed forces must be based on 3 pillars. The first are modern unmanned and anti-drone technologies. To the second – to guarantee the ability to operate in space and to make extended usage of artificial intelligence in the army, the 3rd – to build the ability to conduct long and precise strokes. These priorities arise from the reflection and analysis of modern armed conflicts – wars in Ukraine and the mediate East. It's our occupation for the next weeks and months. We must not waste a minute," Kosiniak-Kamish emphasized. "We will usage all possible and available resources, both European and national. We will not quit any gold for Polish security, due to the fact that time is the most dangerous since the end of planet War II – the Deputy Prime Minister argued.

The head of the Ministry of Defence mentioned the challenges of building reserves for the army and pro-defensive training for citizens as part of the “InReady” Programme. He besides talked about Poland's strong position in NATO.
