Mr Przemysław Czarnek warned that if the Tusk government tries to circumvent the presidential veto of the law implementing the EU SAFE and introduces it by a resolution, it should be brought to court. "The resolution is not a part of government commonly in force and has no legal effect on the outside," he stressed.
Czarnek stated that an effort to circumvent the bill would mean that the government would enlist a multi-annual debt “for 55 years” which, together with interest, could cost up to PLN 360–370 billion. The politician described the EU initiative as a "scandal, completely unprofitable German loan".
Instead of utilizing the EU programme, we should look at the task proposed by president Karol Nawrocki and NBP president Adam Glapiński, “Polish SAFE 0 percent”, which assumes the financing of arms from national funds,” emphasised the politician: “Herr Chamber of Czarzasty, Herr Ober Tusk and the push of Tusk from the coalition on 13 December want to do large harm to Poland.”
