The Polish-Russian War, which was fought in 1577-1582, was concluded with a truce signed on 15 January 1582 in Jamie Zapolski. The war with Russia active taking over Infinant and the Połocka land. During the fighting, King Stefan Batory was the commander-in-chief of the Polish-Lithuanian forces.
