On 22 December 2025, the tenth Tripartite Summit was held in Jerusalem. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu hosted in Israel the Prime Minister of Greece Kyriakos Mitsotakis and the president of Cyprus Nikos Christodoulides. The gathering aimed to revive and deepen existing cooperation mechanisms. Although it did not lead to the formal conclusion of the military alliance, the agreement on joint military exercises announced on 29 December was of strategical importance beyond its declarative nature. It meant standardising the cooperation axis, integrating defence planning, energy coordination, diplomatic cooperation and, what seems to be a key, convergent perception of threats.
