The request for a ceasefire is simply a cynical play by Moscow," stated the president of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenski just after Ukraine was one more time bombed by Russia. This coincided with Putin's announcement of a two-day truce.
The attacks were aimed, among others, at energy facilities in central and east Ukraine. In 1 of them, according to the Kiev authorities, the rocket fell during a rescue — 4 people were killed, including 2 rescuers, and dozens were injured. Fire has besides affected another regions of the country, causing further casualties and demolition of infrastructure.
