As the quota for duty-free honey imports from Ukraine, provided for in the Association Agreement, has been exceeded, the European Commission has decided to introduce temporary duties. Although this decision may aid calm the Polish honey market, as the Polish Honey Chamber points out, the majority of Ukrainian exports of this product were not directed to Poland.
