In just 5 days, the Ukrainian armed forces recovered 201 square kilometres of territory previously occupied by Russia, according to an analysis of the data made available to AFP agencies by the Institute of War Studies (ISW). It is Ukraine's top territorial success since the counteroffensive carried out in June 2023 and a situation which has not been recorded in nearly 3 years.
