One of the inhabitants of Stogów in Gdańsk asked me to address this issue. It is precisely in Stogach, and precisely at the intersection of Siennej street and Stryjewski street, that is the place of intense surface damage. The origin of the problem are buses and trucks, including tractor saddles with containers that regularly pass through this place, destroying the elevated intersection.
These vehicles enter the intersection, leading to cracks of concrete plates. The full thing looks worse. The city is not eager to fix this place for now, though I say they know about the problem. Let me remind you that the intersection was created as part of an costly investment in the territory – the reconstruction of the tram route. More than PLN 110 million was spent for this purpose, of which over PLN 46 million is EU funding, the remaining funds come from the budget of the City of Gdańsk.
The situation is so worrying that the cracks are in a place where the dogs walk. They're about to start stumbling over the crumbling elements. We should be safe.

Three ideas for the intersection on Stogach
Realizing the seriousness of the situation, the officials request to be given 3 independent solutions that could aid improve the state of the infrastructure.
First proposal assumes a comprehensive reconstruction of the intersection, so as to offset it to 1 level. This would destruct the request for dense vehicles to enter the advanced section, which would importantly reduce the hazard of damage.
Second proposal suggests changing traffic organisation on Sienna Street to two-way traffic. This would let the distribution of dense goods traffic to more arteries and avoid the concentration of dense vehicles at the intersection described.
Third solution provides for the planning and booking of fixed funds in the city budget for regular repairs and maintenance of the junction, including the exchange of ankles. individual will say it's a stupid idea, but it's besides to be pointed out as 1 of the effective ones. This would guarantee continuity of corrective interventions and keep the intersection in good condition over the years.
I stress the importance of involving the city in improving infrastructure in Stogach. Through appropriate actions and listening to the voice of the inhabitants, we can work together on a sustainable solution that will benefit all users of this space. For this reason, I encourage you to vote in the survey.
Which of the following activities do you consider to be the most effective in addressing the destroyed intersection in Stogach?
Of course, if you have another suggestions, you can compose about it in a comment.
