The deficiency of information about erstwhile the event occurred may propose that the message is at the last minute, and the mention of pro-Russian views – that the withdrawal of immunity and expulsion from the Chamber of Meetings was due to these views. Tweet besides mentions the “Members supporting Putin”, but does not specify which Members are to be concerned.

More about our evaluation system:What's the picture?
Screen comes from a video depicting the expulsion of Ivan Sinčic (shown in the picture) and Ivan Pernar from the Croatian Parliament's gathering room. Both Members were then organization members Živi zid. The event occurred on 20 January 2017 – during the debate on the removal of immunity from another Members who were sued for defamation by erstwhile Deputy Prime Minister, Tomislav Karamark.
During this debate, Ivan Sinčic attempted to draw attention to Karamarka's corruptionwhich has been recognised by the president as a departure from the subject. Pernar powerfully opposed this warning, and the president ordered him to leave the room. erstwhile he refused, safety was called out of the hall, both Pernar and Sinčica.
Immunity received and proputin views
Even before that, in December 2016, only 1 of those MPs, Ivan Pernar, was denied immunity for painting graffiti with the name of his then party, “Živi zid." This had nothing to do with his pro-Russian views.
Such sympathy can be suspected, paying attention to 1 of his 2017 interviewsIn which he would say:
“Putin is an highly brave man due to the fact that he said “no” to Obama and America and for that I admire him”,
and on content made available on the fanpage of his current organization Ivan Pernar (SIP), among them, among others. expressing enthusiasm for Putin, threatening to cut off gas in retaliation for sanctions.
As for the second MP, Ivan Sinčic, it is hard to find any clues to his support for Putin. He is, however, a declared opponent of NATO, the United States and the European Union, as 1 can see, at least in this video relating to the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
The Živi zid organization itself, to which both Members belonged, called for a drastic improvement of the European Union and a withdrawal from NATO.
Summary
Members from Croatia were not expelled from the Chamber for their support for Putin, but for being reprehensible during a debate a fewer years ago, which was considered to be disruptive to the agenda.
Only 1 of them – Pernar – was removed from the immunity idol even earlier – Not for sympathy for Putin, but for vandalism. The MP expressed his approval for Russia's actions, but no of the sanctions afraid his political sympathy.
