Court non-finally overturns fine for "Black on White" study on Rydzyk

The decision of the territory Court in Warsaw in the first instance overturned in its entirety a fine of more than PLN 140,000, imposed in 2024 by then president of the National Broadcasting Council Maciej Swirski on the TVN company for making available the reportage "Black on White" about Tadeusz Rydzyk's activities on TVN24 GO (now TVN24+). The justification for the verdict emphasized that the material "does not contain content inciting hatred" and is "the realization of the right of journalists to freely present information." It besides pointed out violations in the process of issuing the punishment decision itself.
