Court acquits soldier for shooting at Belarus border

The Military Garrison Court in Lublin acquitted on Wednesday 25-year-old Private Karol S., accused of overstepping his authority and exposing persons to imminent danger of failure of life or serious injury to health. The incidental occurred on March 25, 2024 close Dubicze Cerkiewne, where the soldier fired 12 shots from his service weapon while intervening against a group of migrants forcing their way across the border.
