The National Prosecutor's Office informed on Tuesday that lawyer General Adam Bodnar had suspended 1 of his deputy Proc. Michał Ostrowski for six months. PK accuses Ostrowski of an "obvious and gross insult to the law" which consisted, among another things, of beginning and conducting an investigation without registration in the prosecution's registration system.
It is an investigation into the anticipation of committing a "state bombing" crime by, among others, the Prime Minister, Speakers of the Sejm and the Senate, ministers and the Head of the Government Legislative Centre. Bogdan Święczkowski, president of the Constitutional Court of Ostrowski, notified the case.
Prok. Ostrowski said on Tuesday night in Channel Zero that during his investigation he interviewed a full of 9 people. “All of these people were instructed to face criminal work for making false statements,” he added.
The prosecutor besides stated that he planned to interview the talker of the Sejm Simon Hołownia, president of the Law and Justice of Jarosław Kaczyński, MEP Maciej Wąsik and president of the ultimate Court headed by the Chamber of Extraordinary Control and Public Affairs Joanna Lemanska.
“There is no private investigation”
— If the D.A.'s doing an act at the scene, a private prosecutor from the territory attorney's office, I'm talking about these typical criminal activities, is he going to get a number first? No, he's on his way to work and doing it. And these are crucial procedural actions, these are crucial protocols. So what the lawyer General Anna Adamiak and PK proc. Przemysław Nowak are saying is that there was no number here and that it invalidates, or that it makes the course of actions that I have done ineffective, that is simply nonsense,” Ostrowski said.
To note that the above mentioned persons are saying that this is his private investigation, Ostrowski replied that "there is no private investigation".
