Companies that have declared maintenance in the event of a crisis needed by the production capacity army have signed contracts with the Ministry of Defence. This year's list of Army contractors included 81 entities, and the sum of contracts amounts to evidence PLN 350 million. As declared by the MON, next year 500 million PLN will be allocated for this purpose.


Deputy Prime Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz present handed contracts to representatives of 81 companies performing tasks for the Polish Armed Forces with the Ministry of National Defence. It is an industrial and service facility which, in exchange for financial support from the Ministry of Defence, declared to keep certain production capacity for the military. Among them are both state-owned arms plants (e.g. Huta Stalowa Wola or Rosomak S.A.) and private companies (e.g. WB Electronics) and specified with abroad capital (e.g. Airbus or PZL Mielec).

Each of these companies has undertaken to keep a well-defined production capacity in their own facilities, regardless of the current economical situation and the economical account of production. specified guaranteed capacity will be activated in a crisis situation so that production can be started very rapidly for the military. “I know how crucial it is that there is money to keep a full alert, even if the production line is not always needed today. However, we must be prepared for the most hard experiences. The threat is very serious, the biggest since the end of planet War II – Kosiniak-Kamish assessed.

– Never before has the value of the agreements that concern maintaining the readiness to produce and execute tasks for the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland, for the sake of security, been so high," said Deputy Prime Minister Kosiniak-Kamish. The sum of this year's contracts is about PLN 350 million, which is over 40 percent more than last year. Moreover, over PLN 500 million is to be guaranteed in the MON budget for 2026. – We wanted to appreciate and thank you for this full availability and readiness for the safety of the Polish state.
