The construction of the sixth kind mine destroyer series “Kormoran II” enters the next phase

On Monday, December 16th at Shipbuilding S.A. Shipbuilding shipyard in Gdańsk, owned by REMONTOWA HOLDING Capital Group S.A. will hold the ceremony of placing a keel for construction of the sixth of the Kormoran II kind mine destroyer series. The ship will be named ORP Chaika. After handing it over to the Polish Navy in 2027, it will be incarnated to the 12th Wolinski Trolley Squadron of the 8th Coast Defence Fleet, based in Świnoujście.
