Construction of the sixth in the series of minehunters of the "Kormoran II" class is entering the next phase

On Monday, December 16, the Remontowa Shipbuilding SA shipyard in Gdańsk, part of the REMONTOWA HOLDING SA Capital Group, will hold a keel-laying ceremony for the construction of the sixth Kormoran II minehunter in the series. The ship will be named ORP Czajka. After its transfer to the Polish Navy in 2027, it will be incorporated into the 12th Wolin Minesweeper Squadron of the 8th Coastal defence Flotilla, based in Świnoujście.
