Construction of Norwegian - German submarines begins

Submarine kind 212CD (Common Design) built in the Kiln shipyard thyssenkrupp Marine Systems are the consequence of a program that is jointly run by Norway and Germany. Both countries decided to order the same ships, which was to reduce their construction costs and at the same time increase cooperation between their own maritime forces.
