The ECAS has been collecting data from millions of people arriving in the US since the 1990s. "In the case of asylum seekers, the ECA gives details of confidential interviews or evidence provided by these persons, which may in any cases endanger their lives," explains anonymously "The Washington Post" 1 of the Justice Department officials.
