According to the Washington Post, at least six employees led by Elon Musk of the Government's Department of Performance received access to Executive Office for Immigration Review’s Courts and Appeals strategy (ECAS). It is simply a government database containing information about all immigrants in the US who have come into contact with the services. According to the American newspaper, this is another step on the way to accelerate the aggressive deportation efforts of Donald Trump's administration.

The ECAS has been collecting data from millions of people arriving in the US since the 1990s. "In the case of asylum seekers, the ECA gives details of confidential interviews or evidence provided by these persons, which may in any cases endanger their lives," explains anonymously "The Washington Post" 1 of the Justice Department officials.
