The Warsaw authorities plan to introduce a velocity limit of 30 km/h (tempo30 programme). The region is to cover 90% of the city area and 65% of roads. Mr Dobromir Sośnierz organised a parliamentary intervention in the Warsaw City Hall.
“This is an entirely absurd idea. Experiences from my city, from Katowice, show that this region only works in theory” said Mr Sosnier. “This is an ideological war against drivers!”
