"Conditions are very difficult", but exhumations are to start

The exhumations of Polish victims of the Volhynian massacre in Puzniki in the Ternopil region in western Ukraine are to begin at the end of April. Alina Kharlamova, who will supervise the work on behalf of the Ukrainian foundation Volhynian Antiquities, said the process will begin on April 24. "We visited the place today. The conditions are very difficult. It's hard to get there, there's no access to the erstwhile cemetery," she admitted.
