TERMINATION OF THE task "CRIPTORY:W24" — SUPPORT AND improvement FOR VETERINARS

130 participants, nearly 30 workshops organised in 3 cities and countless applicable tools – this is how you can summarize the completed task "Cryptonym:W24". This exceptional task carried out by the Veteran Centre and the Europa home Foundation was intended to support veterans and their families – providing them with cognition of: dealing with regular challenges, post-traumatic stress and improving intellectual and physical health.

On 23 October this year, the last workshops carried out as part of the task "Cryptonym:W24". This task was created jointly – thanks to the engagement of the Centre for Veteran Activities outside the State Borders and the Europa home Foundation, and its main aim was to aid deal with the negative consequences of post-traumatic stress. As part of the project, group workshops on cryotherapy, breath, yoga and meditation were held in Warsaw, Krakow and Tychy.

The workshops were conducted in chamber groups and were mainly attended by veterans and their closest. The classes were besides attended by veterans from the Police and State Protection Service.

Investment in the future of veterans

The "Cryptonym:W24" task is simply a decisive investment in the future of veterans and their families – both physically and psychologically.

Dr. Patryk Szczygieł, president of the Europa home Foundation, stressed that the task “Cryptony:W24” is highly crucial to us. It forms part of the Europe home Foundation's activities – supporting veterans and their families to cope with regular challenges. Organizing specified projects is simply a precedence for us due to the fact that we know how crucial it is to build space where participants can make their skills, get tools to combat stress and improve the quality of their lives. It is not just a task – it is an investment in the future of those who deserve our support.

The activities carried out were applicable and participants could draw on them reliable cognition and concrete solutions concerning their health. Lessons in breathing or meditation techniques and yoga helped to find ways to calm down or gain additional energy. Cryotherapy, which enjoyed large interest – aimed at strengthening physical wellness – especially the immune system.

Strengthening intellectual and emotional health

A very crucial component of the full task and the main thought of the organizers was to strengthen the intellectual and emotional wellness of those taking part in the classes. The workshops carried out under the task focused on developing methods of coping with stress, allowing participants to get applicable skills useful in everyday life.

The Cryptonym:W24 task is an highly valuable initiative that has contributed to the real improvement of veterans and their families – especially in the area of intellectual health. Thanks to the workshops, participants gained the tools essential to deal with stress and improve quality of life. This is simply a step forward in building interior strength and balance, which is the foundation of intellectual and emotional health.”

Support for future initiatives

The completion of the task is an crucial step, but besides a starting point for further action for veterans. The Veteran Centre plans to proceed akin initiatives that will let further support for veterans in their improvement and will guarantee their intellectual and physical health.

Veteran Centre for Activities outside the State Borders – serves as a centre in which veterans of activities outside the country and of the household of soldiers and military personnel who died during these activities, receive assistance, advice and consult, in peculiar legal and psychological, on the possibilities of solving their problems. The Centre besides promotes the integration of veterans' environment around joint ventures and initiatives.
