Complaint of the medicine. Gizela Jagielska – violation of the principles of medical ethics
Ladies and gentlemen,
I hereby file a complaint against you with the medicine. Gizela Jagielska, specialist in gynecology and obstetrics, working at the infirmary in Oleśnica. Mrs Jagielska runs a public profile on the Instagram portal named @nabkibabkom_uncensory, which contains controversial content on the subject of abortion.
In particular, I would point out that a profile image is utilized photo of the dead fetuswhich in my opinion exceeds the limits of not only good taste, but above all of professional ethics. specified action can be viewed as a public promotion of abortion in a brutal and shocking way, not worthy of the profession of doctor and incompatible with the oath ("to service human life and health", "to safeguard the dignity of the medical condition and not to contaminate it"). In my opinion, publishing drastic visual content, peculiarly as delicate as pictures of a dead fetus, in a public space by a individual exercising a profession of public trust, specified as a doctor, may be a gross violation of ethics.
In addition, in an online interview published on April 10, 2024 on the Youtube Channel Zero, she expressed herself in a doctor-friendly way.
When asked by the editor, “Are you not afraid that the kid will be healthy and the parent will be healthy and will get a receipt from the psychiatrist?” she replied, “I absolutely do not get into it.” She replied to the question, "Should there not be a second opinion as a safety buffer?" and said, "No, it's just obstruction of access to abortion, a female can have 1,000 different reasons for abortion, I'm not interested."
Gizela Jagielska does not number at all with respect to the life of the fetus and is able to remove a healthy pregnancy from the psychiatric certificate even in 9 months of pregnancy. He does not so search to preserve the child's wellness and life before his birth, which he is bound by Article 39 of the Code of medicine and infringes anti-abortion legislation. Killing a healthy fetus in 9 months of pregnancy cannot be a condition for the mother's intellectual comfort. The mother's blackmail that "you will kill me or I will kill myself" should not be accepted by doctors in the current legal state as the right to abortion. After all, specified conditions can be applied to children already born. The cynical promotion of killing unborn children is not a treatment, it is contrary to the Hippocratic oath (I will not give a lethal drug to anyone, even if he asks me, nor will I give specified advice to anyone, nor will I give a female a miscarriage).
In my opinion, she violated the following provisions of the Medical Ethics Code.
Article 1.1. Principles of medical ethics arise from general ethical standards. 2. They require a doctor to respect human rights and to take care of the dignity of the medical profession. 3. The dignity of the profession is undermined by any medical procedure that undermines trust in the profession.
Article 3. The doctor should always fulfill his duties with respect to man regardless of age, gender, race, genetic equipment, nationality, religion, social affiliation, material situation, political views or another conditions.
Article 38. 1. The doctor should relate with a sense of peculiar work to the process of passing on human life.
Article 39. erstwhile taking medical action in a pregnant woman, the doctor shall besides be liable for the wellness and life of her child. Therefore, it is the work of the doctor to preserve the wellness and life of the kid besides before his birth.
The substance of abortion is simply a very delicate social issue. Doctors should talk on this subject with restraint, with respect and respect for human life, even before its birth, as indicated in Article 39 of the Code of Ethics.
