This year's celebration of the National independency Day at the Museum of the Polish Army was of exceptional character. On 11 November, the square in front of the museum was filled with crowds of visitors who jointly celebrated the 107th anniversary of Poland's independence. The weather did not discourage anyone – despite the rain thousands of Warsawers and guests from all over Poland took part in the Independent Joint Festival, which one more time proved that joy from freedom can connect generations.
The Museum of the Polish Army, as a co-organiser of the event, prepared for participants a number of attractions that allowed to feel the spirit of the Polish weapon – both contemporary and historical. In the defender Square, you could closely see the state-of-the-art military equipment, including Abrams tank, the Artillery Command Vehicle, RAK 120 mm self-propelled mortar on the KTO Rosomak chassis, the WR-40 Langust rocket launcher and the Wheeled Armored Transporter Rosomak and the military Hummer. Bombing robots, bomb dog shows in action, as well as 3D driving simulators, reflexes and training systems Cyclops and Lightning, were besides of large interest.
There were besides presentations of peculiar and Aeromobile Army soldiers, medical and preventive equipment expositions, and interactive lifeguard dog fantoms. For past lovers, an exhibition of historical vehicles and many presentations of a replica of weapons and uniforms from various eras were prepared.
There were no shortages of attractions for the youngest. In the fun and exploring zone, children could participate in games, competitions and animations. A wide scope of customers gained a construction region of COBI blocks. As all year, the tradition of the event was to service military peas consecutive from the field kitchen.
Meetings with sportsmen, including Sandra “Adrenaline” Drabik, Radosław Kawack, Alan Banaszek and Łukasz Gutkowski, who spoke about their disciplines and proved that the athletics and service of the Homeland go hand in hand.
The solemn atmosphere was besides emphasized by the performances of the Echo Mountains band from Kasinka Mała and the show of the band dance, which warmed the audience despite the November cold. The end of the day was a unique performance "The Shared independency 2025" – a musical event in which 16 artists from 16 voivodships performed. conventional regional songs and themes sounded in Jan Smoczyński's modern arrangements, bringing a message of unity, pride and community.
This year's celebration at the Museum of the Polish Army showed that independency truly unites us, regardless of age, interest or experience. possibly smiles, household conversations and singing patriotic songs together created an atmosphere of actual community and national pride.
