More decisions are made in the loud Collegium Humanum case. In a separate trial for corruption, the president of Wrocław Jacek Sutryk, prominent PiS politicians and erstwhile commanders of the State Fire Department will be tried.


According to "Gazeta Wyborcza", the prosecution in Katowice decided to exclude from the main investigation the case of respective suspects, including the president of Wrocław Jack Sutryk, politicians of the Law and Justice of Karol Karski and Ryszard Czarnecki and 2 erstwhile commanders of the State Fire Service.

This applies to people who have already collected all the evidence and "there is no point waiting for them to accuse at the end of the full investigation and all its threads."

That means that their trial will decision faster than the others. Suspects will be summoned to consult the case files and can then submit evidence applications. "Electionary" predicts that the indictment will go to court no later than in the fall.

Sutryk, Czarnecki and Karski will be tried in a separate trial


As we wrote in onTemat.pl, Collegium Humanum, now functioning as the University of Business and Applied Sciences "Varsovia", changed its name in June 2024. This decision was a consequence of a immense scandal that contributed to the university's negative image.

The Collegium Humanum became a symbol of fraud – in addition to authentic diplomas, there were besides false MBA certificates, which, according to investigators, could simply be bought.
