Following Russia's invasion of Ukraine, millions of citizens left the country – mainly women and children, but hundreds of thousands of young men were besides among them. However, the vast majority of Ukrainians remained in a war-torn country, incapable or unwilling to leave it.

Only 26 percent of the respondents declared their willingness to go “in the shackles”. 17% could not answer this question.

Research conducted by the Pollster investigation Institute 10-11.09.2025 by the CAWI method on a typical example of 1020 adult Poles. The estimation mistake was up to 3%.
