At least 45 flood victims in Afghanistan and Pakistan

Since Wednesday, dense rains have led to widespread floods in Afghanistan and Pakistan; at least 45 people have been killed as a consequence of the storm, and 74 have been injured - Afghan and Pakistani crisis management institutions declared on Monday.

The National Emergency Management Office (NDMA) in Afghanistan reported that at least 28 people were killed in a fewer days. In Pakistan, the number of fatalities was 17, including 14 children," reported the crisis management agency in the Chajber Pashtunchwa state in the northwest of the state.

Most victims in Afghanistan were reported in the central and east parts of the country, including the provinces of Parwan, Wardak, Dajkondi and Logar.
