On 28 August, around 7:30 p.m. at Radom-Sadków Airport, an F-16 "Jastrzeb" fighter from the F-16 Tiger Demo squad crashed. Maciej "Slab" Krakowian made the training flight before the global Air Show. There's footage of a tragic accident online.

Experts have commented on possible causes of the disaster. Grzegorz Brychczyński, president of the Association of Aviation Engineers and Engineers of Communication of the Republic of Poland, pointed out that the pilot lacked altitude to get out of the acrobatics.
– I see the pilot was most likely doing any kind of acrobatics, trying to get out of it, trying to get the plane out of the dive. For me the not very understandable situation was the booster, [...] velocity very high, overload very big. [...] So, for good reason, he ran out of 10-15 meters advanced to get the plane out of this figure," said the air expert on TVN24.
In turn, the reserve colonel Krystian Son-in-law, erstwhile commander 32. The Tactical Aviation Base in Grace, stressed that "this is most likely a pilot error". "Of course, the Air Accident Investigation Commission will analyse this situation in terms of equipment reliability. But from what we see in the recordings, it will most likely be qualified as a human error," he said in an interview with RMF FM.
"I'm certain the pilot lacked altitude."
Military expert Mariusz Cielma on Polsat News besides indicated height, but noted that "there are respective scenarios to be considered".
