U.S. president Donald Trump and president of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenski did not scope an agreement on the continuation of the war in Ukraine after their 3rd gathering in Washington, D.C., said CNN station on October 18.
According to sources acquainted with the discussions on October 17, the gathering lasted for respective hours and was held in "an honest, though tense moment." The American leader was about to tell Zelensk that the United States would not hand over the far-reaching Tomahawk rockets, capable of destroying targets in deep Russian territory.
One of CNN's officials reported that Trump expressed his concerns that Kiev was “trying to escalate” and “extensify the conflict”, while he himself wants to avoid further losses from the coming hard winter.
