CMS advised TAURON Polska Energia S.A. and Deloitte Legal to Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego (BGK), in connection with the conclusion of a debt agreement of PLN 310 million, granted to TAURON from the National Recovery Plan (KPO). The debt is intended to digitise the transformation of electricity networks, including the modernisation and digitisation of energy infrastructure.
On the CMS side, the task was supervised by partner Michał Meżykowski, and was led by elder associate Katarzyna Mazur. Lawyers supported the client in areas specified as preparing and negotiating financial documentation and ensuring compliance with all KPO requirements.
On behalf of Deloitte Legal, the transaction was conducted by a local partner Mariusz Banaś, whose squad provided comprehensive legal support to Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowy.
