During civic hearings in territory Five, so far we have met the silhouettes of 21 candidates for parliament with 3 electoral letters. Another proceeding on Tuesday, September 26th in Rypin, at Tina's amusement club

Citizens' hearings are to bring candidates closer to voters. Getting closer to them is expected to make it easier to make decisions at ballot boxes. Election territory number 5 is simply a medium-sized territory in Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship. It covers 3 cities under the laws of the county: Toruń, Grudziądz and Włocławek and the districts: Aleksandrowski, Brodnicki, Chełminski, Golubsko-Dobrinski, Grudziądz, Lipnowski, Radejowski, Rypiński, Toruń, Wąbrzeski and Włocławski.

On 19 September there was a civilian proceeding of candidates for parliament in Grudziądz. Very interesting candidates answered questions in the field of Environment and Climate.
– Energy, climate, environmental protection – at least to any people they seem to know well. – said gathering moderator Piotr Giersszewski. And here's the unpleasant question 19. It is known that each of us emits any kind of carbon footprint. Something needs to be done about it, that carbon footprint needs to be reduced. If you are liable politicians, you must consider how to convince the public of what to give up? due to the fact that we all gotta quit something. Unpopular decisions will should be taken, i.e. the introduction of 1 or another kind of taxes on restrictions, limits and so on," added Gierszewski encouraging answers to 19 questions from the list.

Parliamentary candidates had to answer which of the following solutions would support:
(a) the introduction of a coal taxation on goods whose production involves
with advanced CO2 emissions.
(b) the environmental costs of the meat industry, which will contribute to
increase prices and reduce meat consumption.
(c) an additional CO2 charge for car-holders.
(d) an additional charge above a specified number of flights during the flight
year.
(e) an additional CO2 charge for residents of buildings not
meeting the zero emanation condition.
(f) although consumers are liable for emissions of CO2 into the atmosphere, no
should bear the cost of combating climate warming.
(g) I have no opinion.

All candidates felt that consumers should not bear the cost of combating climate warming in taxes. They focused on education and reported a number of solutions, identified 3 sources of funding: KPO, Green Governance and the Church Fund.

Anna Pastusz from PSL said: "Departing from coal is not a good solution, but I am most much in favour of reducing carbon dioxide emissions (...), but that is what we gotta do very slowly, get people utilized to. Let us remember that Silesia is simply a coal economy, and we cannot introduce everything immediately, we must besides think about this part of our country.

Beata Gurbin, PL2050SH candidate: "I do not know where this question comes from, that we must necessarily taxation us citizens in connection with the transition to green energy, or due to the fact that we produce carbon dioxide. I think the state can compensate us and transfer us to the green side of power.

The Left wants to draw on the models of European policy and advance collective transport in education. KO's proposals are free public transport and a number of financial incentives from the state.

During the discussion, Tomasz Szymanski besides stated: "The carbon footprint, that is the problem with the water economy.

Asking a question Piotr Giersszewski summed up: – But we have no time and that is the worst. Education, this isn't gonna help. We, as citizens, but besides as politicians, must be aware that there is no time. We can't be smoking a small more coal. That level we were expected to cross, we've already crossed 15 years ago. And there are the latest reports that say, by 2050. 2050 – and then it will be a domino and nothing more
He'll halt and then we won't look at any money.

Piotr Sitkowski: – Education and it is not just education about thinking, educating children. If I listen, forgive me if I perceive to any people, we just gotta educate ourselves. present we complain due to the fact that the Law and Justice is giving distant money and the question is always: what will you fund? Where do you get that money? Good. KPO, EU funds, but that won't be enough. due to the fact that like you said, erstwhile will this threshold be crossed, that there will be no turning back?

The year 2050 is very close. And now, is there a deficiency of [the courage—ed.] people who will rule, to say plainly that saving what else goes to save must cost? Who's gonna pay for this? I'm just a driver. I gotta say 1 thing: if you have to, you gotta make a taxation that we gotta pay to save all this. And the question of whether or not the plane is expected to fly is, in my opinion, tiny things.

The candidates defended the position.

Beata Gurbin: – But we have money. Money for the Covidowy fund. We have a stupid investment in CPK. Ridiculous investments, Saskie Castles. Money is.

Piotr Sitkowski: – We were not expected to talk about the past, we are reasoning about the future. Afraid to tell? It's gonna gotta cost us, and we're all gonna gotta make it work.

Piotr Giersszewski: As you say. It will be, but evil messengers or evil prophets nobody likes. any scientists are prophets who speak. We've all watched any kind of disaster movie. The warnings came to the last minute, and then save yourself. Let's do something while we can.
