Iranian state media ISNA and Tasnim released a paper suggesting that the Iranian Revolutionary defender (IRGC) could set mines in the Ormuz Strait – a key shipping way between the Persian Gulf and the planet – writes the Associated Press.
The published map shows the location of the mines and the routes to which the vessels passing the strait are to travel close the Iranian island of Larak.
Experts consider the paper to be an component of Iran's force on the US, due to ceasefire and planned talks in Pakistan. The Iranian Navy threatens to destruct ships passing without Tehran's permission.
