The gathering of representatives of the Chancellery of the president and the Ministry of abroad Affairs did not end in a pleasant exchange. Although both parties expressed their willingness to cooperate – above all in resolving the issue of ambassador appointments – there is no clear will to compromise after either. The president calls for "observance of constitutional principles" and the cessation of "bad traditions", and the head of the MFA announces that he will not let "resistent stubbornness" of the diplomatic service.

On Thursday, a gathering took place between the President's Office of global Policy, Marcin Przycz, and Deputy abroad Minister Marcin Bosacki. It discusses among others the issue of appointments of ambassadors, which block – for individual reasons – of the Presidential Palace.

After the meeting, Przypocz declared that president Karol Nawrocki's Chancellery is ready for a dialog on the appointments of ambassadors, which are requested by the Ministry of abroad Affairs, but so has any expectations.

"We anticipate constitutional principles to be respected first, secondly, the provisions of the Act, thirdly, a good tradition," said a typical of the President. The bad tradition, in his opinion, is to be the “test of dominance and blackmail” from the Ministry of abroad Affairs. The condition of cooperation is to reject it by the Ministry of Radosław Sikorski.

What does the abroad Minister say? Sikorski replied that "the president has a constitutional right and a work to appoint or refuse to appoint an ambassador and the Minister of abroad Affairs is entitled to apply for this."

"I will not let the government to take distant its competence or to re-tolerate the Polish diplomatic service. Almost all Polish abroad institutions have their managers. They work hard for Polish interests, besides to support the visit of the President. The only thing that any of them deficiency is his signature on the bill of motions submitted," wrote the head of the MFA on X.

The president has a constitutional right and a work to appoint or refuse to appoint an Ambassador and the abroad Minister is entitled to apply for this under the law.
I will not let the government to take distant its competence or to re-repeat the Polish service...
