Christians distinguished the resurrection from the dead from the Ascension

I realize perfectly well that on a Sunday like present everyone is waiting for what will happen tonight erstwhile we learn the results of the presidential election. All the more reason, then, to distance ourselves from these thoughts for a minute and remind us of the importance of today’s festival, namely the Ascension.
