China: Transporter to Global Dominance

The closest possible armed conflict in which the People's Republic of China can participate is the Taiwan War and, by the way, the Pacific Theatre Dominance War (according to the American nomenclature: Indopacify). If it always happens, it will most likely happen in the next 5 years. By then, however, the fresh Chinese transport aircraft will not be ready. And no wonder. Very fresh is the Chinese dense cargo aircraft Xi’an Y-20 Kunpeng, which entered service only in 2018. This device is capable of carrying up to 66 tons of cargo and only yields to American C-5 Galaxy and C-17 Globemaster III and Ukrainian An-124 in this respect.
