Until recently, Bangladesh's land troops were a user of 1 light tank regiment, numbering 44 VT-5 machines. This figure has been increased by fresh deliveries. Unfortunately, it was not informed how many vehicles were delivered under the last delivery. These tanks service in parallel with MBT-2000 primary tanks and average tanks kind 59G Durjoy and kind 69-IIG, of which it is in Bangladesh's land troop resources 44, 174 and 58 respectively. In total, Bangladesh's land troops have over 320 tanks.
