The Polish Space Agency (POLSA) citing the latest data on the orbital position of Chinese rocket, which can fly over Poland on Friday, estimates that the object can enter the Earth's atmosphere between 9:09 and 13:21 Polish time. The Agency has ensured that it monitors the situation.
About the anticipation of entering the Earth's atmosphere, fragments of the Chinese rocket warned on Thursday Government safety Centre, citing a message Polish Space Agency (POLSA). The situation is related to the natural process of deorbiting the object.
According to the latest data provided by POLSA, the ZQ-3 R/B object is estimated to enter the Earth's atmosphere on Friday between 7:04 and 13:12 Polish time. Subsequent RCB communications indicated that the estimated time window was 9:09-13:21.
Missile flights are possible Over the Bieszczady (c. 8:20), from Szczecin to Hel (c. 9:50) and over Suwałsland (c. 12:55).
POLSAThe Agency warned that due to the mass of the rocket of ca. 11,000 kg, and unknown object structure it may not be burned in the atmosphere, and its remains "can scope the surface Earth along the final trajectory".
The Chinese rocket can enter the Earth's atmosphere
The Agency ensured that the SSA POLSA Operations Centre monitor the situation, utilizing not only available data on the trajectory of the object, but besides optical observations made with POLON telescopes.
"Operators of the Centre conduct observations all time the object is within scope of our telescopes, among others, a flight of the object at an altitude of about 200 km above the Earth surface from POLON-Africa Observatory (RPA) was observed" - said POLSA.

She added that national services and institutions "are kept informed according to existing agreements and operational procedures. POLSA besides remains in constant contact and data exchange with EUSST partnership".
