Chinese abroad Ministry: we do not conduct atomic weapons tests

Mao stated during a regular briefing that China "has always followed the way of peaceful development, pursued a policy of refraining from utilizing atomic weapons first, adhered to a strategy of atomic self-defense, and respected its commitment to suspend atomic testing."
