The defence ministers' talk is another sign of the continuation of the very close military and political relations between Beijing and Moscow, which for years have been described as a "comprehensive strategical partnership." The Chinese minister's declaration comes at a time erstwhile there are intense global discussions about ending the war in Ukraine
