China to conduct military exercises with Laos

China will conduct military exercises with Laos from May 9 to 28 — to practice simulating an attack on global criminal groups. “Friendship Shield 2023" exercises will affect more than 900 people, including more than 200 Chinese soldiers, according to Reuters.
