China surrounds Taiwan. The biggest exercises with Russia in the background [COMMENTARY]

The exercises lasted 2 days, from 29 to 30 December 2025. Chinese naval ships, including destroyers, kind 055 large destroyers, frigates and amphibious assault helicopters, as well as units belonging to the Chinese Coast Guard, took part in them. Sources in the Republic of China (Taiwan) claim that a full of 28 ships have been counted, including 4 amphibious assault units with helicopters on board. Interestingly, the sources do not supply information about the participation of Chinese aircraft carriers.
