China responds to Zelensky's allegations: 'Absolutely groundless'

China has rejected Kiev’s “absolutely baseless” claims that “many Chinese citizens are fighting alongside Russian forces in Ukraine.” On April 8, Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky reported the capture of 2 Chinese citizens fighting with the Russian army in the Donetsk region. The U.S. State Department expressed “concern” about the information.
